Accelerated Iron Corrosion Tester for Oil Fuel and Petroleum Testing Instruments

The Iron Corrosion Tester provides an accelerated laboratory and field procedure for determining the corrosion of iron in the presence of water in various fuels and fuel-blend components. Applicable samples include gasoline and gasoline blended with 10% ethanol (E10), gasoline-blend components except butane, diesel fuel, biodiesel blends B5 and B6 to B20, light cycle-oil, No. 1 and No. 2 fuel oils, and aviation turbine fuel. The instrument features preset temperature and stirring speed values in accordance with ASTM D7548, a 5-inch touchscreen control display with soft keys, a four-position liquid bath, and an integrated timer. Its compact design supports convenient laboratory operation. The system includes test jars, corrosion test specimen assemblies, temperature probes, magnetic stirrer bars, and other accessories required for testing.
