+91 98967 93832The Advanced Zeeman Effect Experimental System with Electromagnet designed to investigate one of the most significant phenomena in atomic physics—the Zeeman effect. The experiment provides direct evidence of atomic magnetic moments and spatial quantization by observing the splitting of atomic spectral lines under the influence of a magnetic field. The system utilizes a powerful electromagnet capable of producing magnetic fields greater than 1 Tesla, allowing clear observation of the splitting of the Mercury spectral line at 546.1 nm into its characteristic π and σ components. Both transverse and longitudinal Zeeman effects can be observed, enabling detailed study of spectral line polarization and magnetic interactions within atoms. A high-quality Fabry-Perot etalon provides excellent spectral resolution for observing fine spectral structures. The included direct reading microscope allows precise measurement of interference patterns, while an optional CCD camera with analysis software enables digital image acquisition and quantitative evaluation of Zeeman splitting for determination of fundamental physical constants. The wideband Fabry-Perot etalon also permits observation of Zeeman effects at additional Mercury wavelengths, including 577 nm, 436 nm, and 404 nm, when used with optional interference filters.
