The Air Track System is designed to demonstrate Newton's First Law of Motion and investigate the principles of motion with minimal friction. It features a precision-engineered 2-meter track that allows gliders to move smoothly with negligible frictional forces, making it ideal for studying uniform motion and collisions.

The system can be used with a timing setup to investigate average and instantaneous velocity, uniform acceleration, elastic and inelastic collisions, impulse, change in momentum, conservation of momentum, and conservation of energy. Its accurate measurements provide reliable experimental results for physics education.
