The Cold Filter Plugging Point (CFPP) Tester determines the lowest temperature at which diesel, biodiesel, and heating fuels can pass through a standardized wire mesh filtration device under specified cooling and testing conditions. The test identifies the temperature at which a fuel fails to pass through a 45-micron mesh filter within the prescribed time, helping estimate the lowest temperature for trouble-free fuel flow in certain fuel systems. The system provides automated testing in accordance with ASTM D6371 and related international test methods. It features an integrated 12-inch touchscreen panel PC, dedicated operating software, internal vacuum generation, and a direct cooling system that eliminates the need for solvent cooling baths. The software displays and records analytical parameters in real time and monitors system components, including solenoid valves, cooling equipment, pressure sensors, and the PT100 Class A temperature probe.
