Automatic Houillon Viscometry System for Oil Fuel and Petroleum Testing Instruments

The Fully Automatic Kinematic Viscometer is a compact, bench-top system designed to measure the kinematic viscosity of transparent and opaque Newtonian liquids, including base oils, formulated oils, diesel, biodiesel blends, residual fuel oils, marine fuels, used lubricating oils, petroleum products, and water-based fluids. It uses the Houillon viscometer tube method and offers high throughput, low sample volume, and low solvent consumption. The system features automatic flow-time measurement with precise meniscus detection, self-calibrating optical sensors, automatic cleaning and drying, integrated back-flushing, and accurate temperature control. It includes two temperature-controlled baths with two viscometer tubes per bath, allowing simultaneous measurements at different temperatures. The stand-alone unit operates through a 12-inch capacitive touchscreen without requiring a PC. Optional features include an autosampler, dual-solvent cleaning, duplo measurement capability, and PC software.
