Automatic Pensky Martens Closed Cup Flash Point Tester for Oil and Petroleum Testing Equipment

The Automatic Pensky-Martens Closed Cup Flash Point Analyzer is designed to determine the flash point of petroleum products and other combustible liquids using the closed-cup test method. It is suitable for biodiesel, distillate fuels, new and used lubricating oils, residual fuel oils, cutback residuals, mixtures of petroleum liquids containing solids, and petroleum liquids that tend to form a surface film during testing.

The analyzer features an integrated processor-based computer system with an 8.4-inch touchscreen interface for test selection, operation, and result display. Flash point detection is performed using a thermocouple and an ionization ring. The automated cover and motor assembly provides three selectable positions: Open, Clean, and Test.

An integrated dual-fan cooling system rapidly cools the test cup and surrounding environment. Automatic barometric pressure correction, temperature calibration functions, data storage, and an inert-gas fire suppression system support reliable and safe laboratory operation.
