Automatic Viscometry System for Oil and Petroleum Testing Instruments

The Fully Automatic Kinematic Viscometer is designed to measure the kinematic viscosity of Newtonian fluids, including fuels, base oils, formulated oils, petrochemical fluids, lubricants, and diluted polymer solutions. It uses calibrated capillary viscometers based on the Ubbelohde design to measure flow under gravity or vacuum at precisely controlled temperatures. The system covers a wide viscosity range from 0.15 to 25,000 mm²/s and supports sample introduction by vacuum or pressure. It features precise temperature control, accurate flow-time measurement, automatic sample filling, solvent cleaning, drying, and easy viscometer tube replacement. Multiple configurations are available with one or two independently operated baths and one or two viscometer tubes per bath. Each bath includes a 32-position sampling tray for unattended operation. The system offers touchscreen control, storage for up to 10,000 measurement results, and optional PC software for data collection, calculations, and reporting.
