Automatic Volumetric Titrator for Oil and Petroleum Testing Equipment

The Automatic Volumetric Titrator is designed for the determination of Total Acid Number (TAN), Total Base Number (TBN), hydrogen sulfide, mercaptan sulfur, Bromine Index, and Bromine Number in petroleum products, oils, fats, and hydrocarbons.

The instrument uses potentiometric or volumetric titration methods, depending on the selected application. During TAN and TBN testing, the sample is added to the reagent, and the sample weight is entered into the instrument. Special control algorithms adjust the titration speed according to the reaction rate and continue the process until the endpoint is detected.

For sulfur determination, the instrument uses silver nitrate solution in an anhydrous medium to measure hydrogen sulfide and mercaptan sulfur. Bromine titration measures the bromine consumed by unsaturated constituents in hydrocarbons and oils.

The system features pre-programmed measurement methods, automatic titration control, and a formula generator for customized result calculations.
