+91 98967 93832The bailer is designed for collecting relatively clean soil and sediment samples. It consists of an open stainless steel tube with a specially shaped bottom opening, which is closed by either a stainless steel valve or a synthetic valve.
The stainless steel valve offers greater sensitivity during pulsing, while the plastic valve provides better flexibility when handling fine gravel. The valve can open to a maximum angle of approximately 45°. The 55 mm and 63 mm diameter designs provide sufficient clearance when used inside a drill pipe.
The bailer features a bayonet connection that allows different extension rods to be attached easily. Its hinged connection enables the bailer to be released without disconnecting the extension rods.
