+91 98967 93832This classic physics experiment combines the principles of Conservation of Momentum and Conservation of Energy to determine the muzzle velocity of a projectile. Only simple mass and distance measurements are required to perform the experiment.
Designed and manufactured by Atico Export to meet the practical requirements of modern physics laboratories and educational training facilities.
Working principle :
A projectile is fired into a pendulum, causing the pendulum to rise. Using the projectile mass, pendulum mass, and increase in pendulum height, students can calculate the gravitational potential energy of the system. Since this potential energy is equal to the pendulum's kinetic energy at the lowest point, the speed of the pendulum at impact can be determined. By applying the Law of Conservation of Momentum, the projectile's initial speed can then be calculated.
