+91 98967 93832This trainer enables students to explore how electrical conversions are made for renewable energy systems. It gives a good fundamental background to solar and wind systems as well as fuel cells for conversion applications. Power generated through renewable energy sources often has to be converted before it can be used or stored. In some systems multiple conversions occur. Students will learn what types of conversions are typically done for green technology areas and how they function. Exercises in conversion will be done and experiments with loads and use of the final power will be performed.
The training system includes several modules for electrical conversion :
DC to AC Conversion
AC to DC Conversion
DC to DC Conversion
DC to AC Conversion
Instrumentation: amp meter, voltmeter and watt meter are provided
Charging control circuits to experiment with the charging control in common battery charger circuits
Variable AC/DC power supply with electrical load
Battery charger circuit for experimentation and measurement of charging current and charging voltage
Includes two types of batteries (flooded and sealed)
Experiment boards for battery types include 4 x 4V, 4 x 6V and 4 x 12V modules
Use of connection cables and electrical connection cables are included
The experiment modules contain real industrial electrical components that are mounted onto clear plexiglass panels with electrical connections and component symbols silk-screened onto them
The system can be integrated with a small solar or PV, wind or fuel cell power systems of approximately 100W capacity
