+91 98967 93832The Beer-Lambert Law Experiment is designed to study the relationship between the absorption of light and the concentration of a solution. The experiment demonstrates how light intensity decreases as it passes through a medium and enables the determination of the concentration of an unknown liquid using samples of known concentration. It provides an effective method for understanding the interaction of light with matter through absorption and transmission. Manufactured by Atico Export India.
Principle
The Beer-Lambert Law relates the attenuation of light passing through a substance to the concentration and properties of that substance. When light interacts with matter, it may undergo emission, absorption, transmission, reflection, or scattering. The amount of light absorbed depends on the concentration of the absorbing medium and the path length, making it possible to determine the concentration of an unknown solution by measuring the transmitted light intensity.
