+91 98967 93832The Malus's Law Experiment is designed to study the polarization of light and experimentally verify Malus's Law. The experiment demonstrates how the intensity of polarized light varies with the angle between two polarizers. It provides a clear understanding of polarized and unpolarized light, as well as the transmission characteristics of electromagnetic waves through polarizing filters. Manufactured by Atico Export India.
Principle
Light behaves as a transverse electromagnetic wave consisting of mutually perpendicular electric and magnetic fields. Depending on the orientation of the electric field, light may be polarized or unpolarized. When polarized light passes through two polarizers, the transmitted light intensity varies with the angle between their polarization axes, following Malus's Law.
