+91 98967 93832The Chaos and Driven Harmonic Motion Accessory is designed to study the behaviour of a physical pendulum under harmonic, chaotic, and damped motion conditions. The rotating disk can be mounted to a rotary motion sensor to monitor and record angular position and angular velocity during experiments.
The apparatus helps students investigate oscillatory motion, magnetic damping, driving amplitude, driving frequency, and phase relationships through practical experiments.
Designed and manufactured by Atico Export to meet the practical requirements of modern physics laboratories and educational training facilities.
Working principle :
Chaotic Motion : Chaotic oscillations of the physical pendulum are produced by adjusting magnetic damping, driver amplitude, and driver frequency.
Driven Harmonic Motion : A 9.5 cm rotating aluminum disk is driven by a mechanical oscillator. Two rotary motion sensors simultaneously monitor the positions of the disk and driver. The sensors provide 1° resolution, allowing the measurement and display of amplitude, frequency, and phase.
Damped Pendulum : The rotary motion sensor monitors the damped oscillations of the aluminum disk. A movable magnet allows students to adjust the strength of magnetic damping and observe its effect on the oscillations.
What's included :
Rotating Disk Diameter : 9.5 cm
Rotating Disk Mass : 120 g
Eccentric Mass : 15 g
Sensor Resolution : 1°
