The Constant Temperature Hydrometer Bath is designed for determining the density, relative density (specific gravity), and API gravity of crude petroleum, liquid petroleum products, and mixtures of petroleum and non-petroleum products. It also supports Reid Vapor Pressure determinations using immersion bombs. Available in 6-position and 12-position models, the bath provides temperature control for petroleum product testing. Digital temperature control enables rapid temperature stabilization while minimizing overshoot. An over-temperature protection circuit interrupts power if the bath temperature exceeds the programmed cutoff point.
