+91 98967 93832The Creating Transmission Holograms on the Laser Optics Base Plate is designed to create and reconstruct transmission holograms using coherent laser light. The apparatus enables students to study the principles of holography by recording interference patterns on holographic film and reconstructing three-dimensional images. By varying the photochemical processing of the exposed film, both amplitude and phase holograms can be produced. The experiment provides a comprehensive understanding of laser optics, interference, diffraction, and holographic image formation. Manufactured by Atico Export India.
Principle
Holography is based on the interference of coherent laser beams. A laser beam is divided into an object beam and a reference beam. These beams interfere on a holographic recording film, storing both the intensity and phase information of the light. After chemical processing, illuminating the hologram with the appropriate light source reconstructs the original three-dimensional image. Stable optical alignment is essential to minimize disturbances caused by vibrations and air currents.
