+91 98967 93832The Demonstration Gyroscope is designed for studying rotational motion, angular momentum, and precession. Its open-frame construction allows students to observe the movement of the gyroscope and investigate the effects of external forces on precession. By holding the vertical shaft, students can stop precession and observe the resulting dipping motion.
The apparatus enables experimental verification of rotational motion principles and mathematical predictions.
Designed and manufactured by Atico Export to meet the practical requirements of modern physics laboratories and educational training facilities.
Working principle :
The gyroscope disk is rotated by wrapping a string around the pulley and pulling it, or by spinning the disk manually. Additional masses can be attached to either end of the gyroscope to produce predictable precession.
Students can observe how applied forces and changes in mass affect precession and rotational motion. Holding the vertical shaft interrupts precession and causes the gyroscope to dip, allowing direct observation of its dynamic response.
