+91 98967 93832The Demulsibility Tester evaluates the ability of medium- to high-viscosity oils to separate from water under conditions involving water contamination and turbulence. The test involves stirring the oil sample with distilled water for five minutes at a controlled temperature. After a specified settling period, the degree of separation is measured by volume and the percentage of water remaining in the oil is determined. For lighter oils and synthetic fluids, the ASTM D1401 water separability test is used. The system features a constant-temperature bath that accommodates two stirrers and two separatory funnels in proper alignment. Each stirrer has an independent motor speed control, while the digital model provides microprocessor temperature control with dual LED displays for setpoint and actual temperatures. The illuminated bath interior and viewing window allow convenient observation of the samples. The stirrer assembly includes a variable-speed motor, stainless steel propeller shaft, bearings, and a built-in tachometer disc for precise speed adjustment. Manufactured by Atico Export with a focus on precision, durability, and reliable performance for lubricant demulsibility testing applications.
