EXPERIMENT: DETERMINATION OF DIELECTRIC CONSTANT OF LIQUIDS & DIELECTRIC CONSTANT OF SOLIDS
EXPERIMENT SETUP CONSISTS OF:
- Digital Capacitance Meter – Measures capacitance from 1 pF up to 1000 pF, range: 1 pF, records previously measured value, mains operated, metal cabinet
- Dielectric Constant of Solids Arrangement – Parallel plate arrangement with variable gap
- Dielectric Constant of Liquids Arrangement – Concentric cylinder arrangement with free space for liquid to be filled in between them, graduations on cylinder
- Samples – 3 × solid samples and 1 × liquid sample
