Edelman hand auger for coarse sand for Soil Testing Lab

This auger is specially designed for sampling loose soils, such as coarse sand and extremely dry sandy soils, which have little or no cohesion. Its blades are extended with additional wings, forming an almost closed auger body that helps retain the soil sample and prevents it from slipping out during extraction.

The special design makes it suitable for collecting samples from loose and dry soil conditions with improved sample retention.

After use, the auger should be allowed to air-dry and cleaned with soap to maintain its condition. Natural rust may develop during use.
