Elastomer Compatibility of Lubricating Greases for Oil Fuel and Petroleum Testing Instruments

The Elastomer Compatibility Tester evaluates the compatibility of lubricating greases and fluids with test coupons cut from standard elastomer sheets. Compatibility is assessed by measuring changes in specimen volume and Durometer A hardness after the elastomer coupons are completely immersed in a lubricant sample for 70 hours or for the duration specified by the applicable lubricant specification. Testing is conducted at 100°C, 150°C, or another temperature required by the lubricant specification.
