+91 98967 93832The Evaporation Loss Tester evaluates the potential for lubricant components to evaporate during high-temperature service. The test measures the change in sample weight after a controlled flow of heated air passes over the sample for a specified period. The apparatus is suitable for lubricating oils and greases and can also be used for estimating the apparent vapor pressures and molecular weights of lubricating oils in accordance with ASTM D2878. The evaporation cell consists of a stainless steel body, cover, eduction tube, and hood, with a calibrated flowmeter and needle valve to maintain the required airflow. Interchangeable stainless steel sample cups accommodate oil or grease samples. The constant-temperature bath holds two evaporation cells in an upright position at the required immersion depth. Microprocessor PID control provides rapid temperature stabilization, while dual LED displays show actual and setpoint temperatures in Celsius or Fahrenheit. Over-temperature protection interrupts power if the bath exceeds the programmed cutoff. The bath features fully insulated, double-wall construction, a stainless steel tank, and a polyurethane-finished steel exterior. Manufactured by Atico Export with a focus on precision, durability, and reliable performance for lubricant evaporation loss testing applications.
