Field inspection vane tester for Soil Strength testing lab

The field inspection vane tester is designed to measure the maximum shear strength of soil. Measurements can be performed directly in the field, on the soil surface, inside profile pits, at the bottom of boreholes or on soil samples in the laboratory.

The measured shear stress is displayed on a clearly readable scale ring. In soft soils, pre-drilling is not required. A dummy vane is available for determining friction on the extension rods during measurements in these conditions.
