+91 98967 93832G by Free Fall Apparatus Experiment is designed to determine the acceleration due to gravity (g) by measuring the time taken by a steel spherical ball to fall through a known distance.
The apparatus consists of an electromagnet operated by a solenoid for the prompt release of the steel sphere and a gate switch unit mounted on a base. Both the electromagnet and the bottom unit are provided with 4 mm sockets for electrical connections.
When the steel sphere strikes the plate of the gate switch unit near the bottom, the signal is communicated to the timer through the make/break of continuity, triggering the timer to stop.
