+91 98967 93832The Venturi Tube Flow Measurement Apparatus is designed to investigate the relationship between fluid velocity and pressure in a flowing fluid system. It features pressure taps at both the narrow and wider sections of the tube, allowing pressure differences to be measured as fluid velocity changes.
A compatible general flow sensor connects to the pressure taps to measure the pressure variations. The apparatus can be used with a ¾-inch PVC pipe and a water supply to demonstrate the Venturi effect and study fluid flow characteristics.
For practical experiments, the outlet can be directed into a bucket placed on a force platform. The changing weight of the collected water can be measured to determine the flow rate and calculate fluid velocity.
Designed and manufactured by Atico Export to meet the practical requirements of modern fluid mechanics laboratories and educational training facilities.
Working principle :
The Venturi tube contains two pressure measurement points located at sections with different diameters. As fluid passes through the narrower section, its velocity increases and its pressure decreases. The wider section has a lower fluid velocity and comparatively higher pressure.
The flow sensor measures the pressure difference between these sections. When water flows through the pipe and collects in a bucket placed on a force platform, the changing weight of the collected water can also be used to determine the flow rate and calculate fluid velocity.
