Hand bailer auger set bayonet connection for Soil Testing Lab

The hand-operated bailer auger set consists of a 60 cm handle with a detachable synthetic grip and various soil auger types with diameters of 7 cm and 10 cm. All components feature a bayonet connection.

This set is designed for manual drilling, soil sampling and investigation in various soil types, including soil horizon studies, geology and archaeology. The casing tubes prevent borehole collapse during drilling below the groundwater table or in non-cohesive soils. The bailer collects and removes loose material through rapid up-and-down movement. The auger can be extended with additional rods and casing tubes and combined with a longer piston sampler.
