+91 98967 93832The Helium Neon Laser Experiment is designed to assemble and study a complete He-Ne laser from individual optical components. The open-frame resonator allows students to investigate laser cavity alignment, mirror configurations, beam characteristics, polarization, longitudinal modes, and wavelength selection. The setup also supports single-mode laser operation, spatial filtering, and optional wavelength tuning, providing a comprehensive platform for advanced laser optics and photonics experiments. Manufactured by Atico Export India.
Principle
A Helium-Neon laser generates coherent light through stimulated emission within an optical resonator formed by highly reflective mirrors. The resonator alignment, mirror reflectivity, and cavity length directly influence laser performance. Brewster windows minimize reflection losses while producing linearly polarized output. Optional optical components such as a Littrow prism, birefringent tuner, and single-mode etalon allow wavelength selection, mode control, and spectral analysis of the laser output.
