+91 98967 93832The High Frequency Reciprocating Rig is designed to evaluate the lubricity, friction, and wear characteristics of diesel fuels and other materials under dry or lubricated conditions. It is used to determine the lubricating performance of diesel fuels in accordance with applicable test methods.
During testing, a 2 mL fuel sample is placed in the test reservoir and maintained at 25°C or 60°C. A non-rotating steel ball mounted on a vibrator arm is loaded against a stationary test disk immersed in the fuel. The ball reciprocates against the disk with a specified stroke and frequency for a defined duration. After testing, the ball is cleaned, and the major and minor axes of the resulting wear scar are measured under magnification.
The system uses a voice-coil actuator and closed-loop electronic control to regulate reciprocating frequency and displacement. Integrated sensors and data acquisition software record frictional force, coefficient of friction, and temperature in real time.
Manufactured by Atico Export for reliable fuel lubricity evaluation and tribological testing in petroleum and research laboratories.
