High Resistance by Leakage Method Experiment

High Resistance Measurement by Leakage Method Experiment is designed for measuring very high values of resistance. Digital multimeters or LCR meters are generally suitable for measuring resistance values from approximately 1 Ω to 20 MΩ, but they may not provide accurate measurements for extremely high resistance values.

The leakage method provides an accurate method for measuring high resistance using a sensitive ballistic galvanometer with a lamp and scale arrangement and low-value capacitors. The setup is provided with different values of unknown high resistances with rotary selection and different capacitor values.
