+91 98967 93832The Automatic Six-Position Dropping Point Tester is designed to determine the dropping point of lubricating greases at temperatures up to 400°C (752°F).
The test cell containing the grease sample is inserted into an aluminum block oven maintained at a temperature above the expected dropping point. The sample temperature rises until the grease reaches its dropping point without requiring operator-controlled heating.
The apparatus features a thermostatically controlled aluminum block oven, six complete dropping point assemblies, and a microprocessor-based PID temperature controller. Large viewing ports with fluorescent backlighting provide clear visibility during testing. Dual LED displays show actual and setpoint temperatures in °C or °F, while an automatic overtemperature safety circuit protects the system.
