+91 98967 93832The hydraulic conductivity test kit is designed to determine the permeability of soil directly in the field using the auger hole method according to Hooghoudt. This method provides a relatively quick and practical way to measure soil hydraulic conductivity using a limited number of instruments.
Working method :
A borehole is drilled to a specified depth below the groundwater level. After allowing sufficient time for the hole to fill with groundwater, the water is removed using a bailer. The time required for the water level to rise and return to its original level is recorded.
The rate of water-level recovery is then used with appropriate formulas or nomograms to calculate the average permeability factor of the different soil layers.
The required borehole depth depends on the groundwater level, the thickness of the individual soil layers and their permeability characteristics.
Manufactured by Atico Export to meet the practical requirements of modern geotechnical, agricultural and soil research laboratories.
