For asphalt mixes, Marshall Stability Load Frames can be utilised with Lottman Breaking Heads (Indirect Tensile Loading Fixtures) in order to achieve Lottman values. A base with upright controller rods and a top with corresponding guide sleeves are included in the unit, for specimens ranging from 4 Inch (102 mm) to 6 Inch (152 mm). There are concave surfaces on the lower and upper stainless steel loading strips.
