Kinematic Viscosity Bath with Optical Flow Detection System for Fuel Testing Instrument

The Automatic Kinematic Viscosity Bath is designed to measure the kinematic viscosity of petroleum and petrochemical products using calibrated capillary viscometers under precisely controlled temperature conditions. The system supports flow measurement under gravity or vacuum in accordance with applicable test methods.

The apparatus features an optical sensor detection system that measures sample flow and automatically calculates kinematic viscosity from the measured efflux time. It accommodates Ubbelohde, Cannon-Fenske, and Cannon-Fenske Opaque Reverse Flow viscometers. Up to five optical detection assemblies can be connected, while two additional positions are available for manual viscosity measurements.

The microprocessor-based PID temperature controller provides precise temperature regulation, supported by a motorized stirrer for uniform bath circulation without turbulence. Integrated timing, dual digital displays, and built-in safety circuits support reliable operation. The system can operate independently without an external computer or connect to a PC for data acquisition, analysis, storage, and export.
