Laboratory Wet Drum Magnetic Separator (Low Intensity)

Drum separators are low-intensity wet magnetic separators used for separating magnetic particles from non-magnetic materials in slurry form.
They are widely used in mineral processing applications.

Working Principle

• The separator consists of a rotating non-magnetic drum with stationary magnets inside.
• Magnetic particles are attracted to the drum surface and carried out of the magnetic field.
• Non-magnetic particles (gangue) are discharged separately.
• Water is introduced to keep the pulp in suspension and aid separation.
