+91 98967 93832The lost-cone drilling method enables fast and efficient drilling using a manually controlled system operated by an electrical percussion hammer. The system is designed to drive the lost cone and its accompanying casing into the soil.
The standard lost-cone drilling set is suitable for drilling to depths of up to 10 m. A specially designed lost cone is driven into the soil using an electrical percussion hammer positioned on the casing. The cone creates a straight borehole with a slightly larger diameter than the casing, reducing friction during drilling and making it easier to reach greater depths. It also minimises friction when extracting the casing.
This method is suitable for environmental research and the installation of small-diameter monitoring wells. After drilling, the lost cone remains in the soil. The material used is naturally present in the soil and does not cause environmental problems. The method is also suitable for installing wells in stony soils and for safely lowering explosives.
The drilling method is limited to soils with some porosity and should not be used where the soil shear stress value is too high.
Manufactured by Atico Export to meet the practical requirements of modern environmental research laboratories and field investigation applications.
