+91 98967 93832The Low Temperature Torque Tester is designed to evaluate the effect of lubricating grease on the rotational resistance of bearing assemblies under low-temperature conditions. The test measures the torque required to rotate a bearing assembly at a specified temperature, providing important information for selecting greases used in cold environments.
The apparatus features a refrigerated, insulated air chamber with two test positions, drive shafts, and externally mounted gear motors. The drive shafts rotate at 1 rpm, while electronic load cell and strain gauge indicators measure the torque required to restrain the test rigs. Digital LED displays show the torque values for both drive units and the chamber temperature. For the automotive wheel bearing configuration, spindle temperatures are also displayed.
The system includes drive shaft overtorque protection that automatically shuts down the motors when torque exceeds a preset limit, helping prevent damage to shaft insulators. It is available in configurations for ball bearing grease testing, automotive wheel bearing grease testing, or both methods in one system.
Manufactured by Atico Export for reliable low-temperature torque testing and lubricant performance evaluation in industrial and automotive laboratories.
