Magnetoresistance & Giant Magnetoresistance Effect

This magnetoresistance experiment system is designed to study the characteristics of magnetoresistive materials and sensors under varying magnetic fields. It enables students to investigate giant magnetoresistance (GMR), anisotropic magnetoresistance (AMR), sensor calibration, sensitivity analysis, and magnetic hysteresis. Experiments :

• Study the Magnetoresistance Effect and Measure the Magnetic Resistance (Rb) of Three Different Materials.
• Plot the Relationship Between Rb/R₀ and Magnetic Field (B) and Determine the Maximum Relative Resistance Change ((Rb - R₀)/R₀).
• Calibrate Magnetoresistance Sensors and Calculate the Sensitivity of Three Different Magnetoresistance Sensors.
• Measure the Output Voltage and Current of Three Magnetoresistance Sensors.
• Plot the Magnetic Hysteresis Loop of a Spin-Valve GMR Sensor.
