The Ball Ramp Apparatus is a versatile physics laboratory setup designed for studying projectile motion, inclined plane motion, energy conservation and momentum. It can be used as both a projectile launcher and an adjustable inclined plane. The apparatus consists of two aluminium meter sticks that form parallel rails for a ball to roll along. Its curved end allows the ball to leave the ramp horizontally, while the built-in bubble level ensures accurate horizontal alignment.
The ramp angle can be adjusted by mounting one end onto a rod stand. Special mounting clamps hold the meter stick rails securely and provide attachment points for photogates to measure the ball's speed. An additional photogate mounting point at the curved end allows velocity measurements just before the ball leaves the ramp.
The apparatus also supports the attachment of a two-dimensional collision accessory for investigating conservation of momentum through ball collision experiments.
Designed and manufactured by Atico Export to meet the practical requirements of modern physics laboratories and educational training facilities.
