The Rust Preventing Characteristics Tester is designed to evaluate the corrosion-preventing properties of petroleum products used in product pipelines. It helps assess corrosion caused by moisture condensed from gasoline and distillate fuels. Testing is performed by immersing polished steel test specimens in a stirred mixture of the sample and distilled water maintained at a constant temperature. The six-place constant-temperature bath accommodates six sample beakers and provides stirring at 1000 RPM with temperature stability of ±0.5°C (±1°F). It features microprocessor temperature control, a switchable °C/°F digital display, and over-temperature protection. Manufactured by Atico Export with a focus on precision, durability, and reliable performance for petroleum corrosion testing applications.
