+91 98967 93832The mini rainfall simulator is designed to evaluate the relative sensitivity of soil to erosion under controlled rainfall conditions. Since soil erosion sensitivity cannot be measured accurately using absolute values, the simulator provides a practical method for comparing erosion behaviour between different soil types.
Working method :
The rainfall simulator produces a standardised artificial rain shower over a plot with a defined surface area. The resulting surface runoff and soil loss are measured to assess the soil's susceptibility to erosion.
The duration, intensity and kinetic energy of the simulated rainfall are controlled to provide reliable test conditions and identify differences in soil properties. Soil composition plays an important role in determining erosion sensitivity. The results help evaluate soil conditions and support appropriate land development and management decisions.
Manufactured by Atico Export to meet the practical requirements of modern soil testing, agricultural and environmental research laboratories.
