+91 98967 93832Fresnel's Biprism Diffraction Apparatus is designed to demonstrate interference fringes using Fresnel's biprism and to determine the wavelength of monochromatic light. The biprism produces an interference pattern from a single light source by creating two virtual coherent sources as light passes through the prism. Physics Lab Experiments Setup from Atico Exports.
Fresnel's biprism consists of two prisms with very small angles joined base to base. When a beam of light strikes the edge of the biprism, two diverging coherent light beams are produced, appearing to emerge from two virtual slits and interfering on the far side of the biprism.
