The courseware covers topics including the theory of how oscilloscopes work, the specific operation of the training unit, the purpose and use of oscilloscopes, the procedures for making proper measurements, use of the instrument and trouble shooting oscilloscopes
The oscilloscope trainer is based upon a standard commercial 20 MHz dual trace oscilloscope that has been modified to provide easy access to the internal circuitry
In addition to being used as a trainer, this unit is also fully functional as a laboratory test instrument
Trainer comes complete with operation manual and student exercises

• The Electro trainer laboratory instrumentation series of trainers are designed to instruct in the proper use, operation, function, theory, and construction of each specific instrument
• Study of instrument use and the proper use of oscilloscopes, which is used to troubleshoot electronic technicians
• Study of troubleshooting techniques for trouble shooting and repair skills as required for an instrumentation technician
