+91 98967 93832The Oxidation Stability Test Bath is designed to evaluate the oxidation stability of fuels and lubricants under controlled temperature and airflow conditions. Testing is generally performed at 95°C in the presence of oxygen or dry air. For inhibited mineral oils, the sample is reacted with oxygen in the presence of water and an iron-copper catalyst.
The apparatus consists of a constant-temperature liquid bath with solid-state temperature control, calibrated flowmeters, individual flow control valves, and a condenser water manifold. Each oxidation cell receives a controlled airflow of 3 L/h. The temperature controller provides rapid stabilization while minimizing overshoot. A redundant overtemperature protection circuit interrupts power if the bath exceeds the programmed temperature limit.
The bath features a double-wall insulated construction, copper immersion heaters, a circulation stirrer, and a stainless steel interior with a built-in support rack and overflow/drain arrangement.
Manufactured by Atico Export for dependable oxidation stability testing of fuels and lubricants in petroleum testing laboratories.
