Oxidation Stability Bath Mineral Insulating Oils for Petroleum Testing Equipment

The Oxidation Stability Test Bath is designed to determine the oxidation stability of mineral insulating and transformer oils by measuring the sludge and acid formed under prescribed accelerated aging conditions.

The apparatus features a constant-temperature oil bath that accommodates six oil receptacles at the required immersion depth. It maintains a test temperature of 110°C ± 0.5°C and supplies oxygen to each sample at a controlled flow rate of 1 L/h ± 0.1 L/h through six independent flowmeters mounted on a common manifold.

The insulated, double-wall stainless steel bath incorporates microprocessor-based temperature control, a digital setpoint and temperature display, and an automatic overtemperature cut-off circuit for safe and reliable operation.
