+91 98967 93832The Linear Motion and Velocity Experiment is designed to study linear motion by experimentally determining velocity as the ratio of displacement to time. The setup enables students to investigate both uniform and uniformly accelerated motion using a trolley moving along a precision track. Time measurements are obtained using a light barrier and electronic counter, while additional suspended weights allow acceleration experiments based on Newton's laws of motion. Manufactured by Atico Export India.
Principle
Velocity is defined as the ratio of displacement (Δs) to the corresponding time interval (Δt). In this experiment, the displacement is measured directly from the graduated track, while the elapsed time is recorded electronically using a light barrier and counter. By attaching the trolley to suspended masses through a pulley arrangement, uniformly accelerated motion can also be investigated.
