Piston sampler bottom part for Soil Testing Lab

The piston sampler is designed with a thin-walled, high-quality stainless steel tube for collecting soil samples from moderately cohesive soil layers below the groundwater table. It is suitable for sampling at depths of up to 5 metres.

The bottom end of the tube is completely open, while the upper end features outlets and an opening for the stainless steel piston rod. A piston is fitted to the lower end of the rod, while a wire eye at the upper end allows attachment of a polyester cord.

The upper end of the sampler features a bayonet connection, allowing easy attachment to the upper section or extension rods.
