+91 98967 93832Drilling fluids and cement slurries often contain entrained or trapped air that may produce inaccurate density readings when using conventional equipment. Pressurizing the sample cup reduces or eliminates this air volume, resulting in more accurate density measurements of the fluid itself.
The pressurized fluid density scale operates similarly to a standard mud balance. A sample cup of known volume is balanced by a fixed counterweight at the opposite end of a balance beam. A sliding rider weight moves along the graduated scale, while a level bubble on the beam indicates when the system is balanced. The rider position on the scale indicates the sample density.
