Rhizon soil moisture sampling set for Soil Moisture Measurement testing

The soil moisture sampling set is designed for collecting soil solution samples using porous plastic samplers made from polyethersulfone (PES). The samplers feature standard 0.15-micron pores and are reinforced with stainless steel wire. Their material prevents the absorption of dissolved organic and inorganic substances onto the sampler surface.

Horizontal installation in moist soil is recommended. Water acts as a lubricant during insertion, minimising soil disturbance and allowing the surrounding soil to settle quickly around the sampler for good soil contact.

The sampler operates under vacuum using a vacuum tube or syringe to collect soil solution. Sampling does not affect the soil pH value. The standard set is suitable for undisturbed soil columns and plant pots, where samplers can be inserted through the container wall. It can also be extended with various accessories for different sampling requirements.
