Sample ring kit core cutter for Soil Testing Lab

The core cutter method is used to determine the density and moisture content of embankment and foundation materials.

A special stainless steel sample ring measuring 95.7 mm in diameter and 81.5 mm in height is driven into the soil surface using a drop weight and guide cylinder. The collected soil sample is then used in the laboratory to determine its density and moisture content.
