+91 98967 93832The Automatic Saybolt Viscometer Bath is designed to determine the viscosity of petroleum products by measuring the time required for 60 mL of a sample to flow through a calibrated orifice under precisely controlled temperature conditions.
Saybolt Universal Seconds (SUS) is commonly used for lubricants, insulating oils, and lighter fuel grades, while Saybolt Furol Seconds (SFS) is used for heavier oils and bituminous materials.
The apparatus features a constant-temperature bath with a capacity for four viscometer tubes and an automatic timing system. At the press of a button, the timer initiates sample flow, detects the 60 mL endpoint, and digitally records the efflux time with a resolution of 0.1 seconds and an accuracy of 0.05%.
The bath incorporates a heavy-gauge stainless steel interior, microprocessor-based temperature control, dual digital displays, and a cooling coil for operation near ambient temperatures. Its removable chemical-resistant top plate facilitates cleaning and maintenance.
